This workshop focuses on how parents can be actively and effectively involved in the development of their child’s Individualized Education Plan. Learn the key components of an IEP and how to develop a good plan that reflects your child’s strengths and weaknesses. Child Care: is available on site by reservation during the parent workshops; child-care check-in is at 5:45 pm.  This service is complimentary, but donations are accepted from families who choose to use childcare support.

Educators and para-educators can learn practical classroom strategies for working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders during a day-long workshop by The Birchtree Center’s behavior analysts, special educators & speech-language pathology assistant.  Workshop location, schedule, and fees will be announced when registration opens in May. 

Attendance certificates will be provided (5.5 hrs. instruction).
