The Birchtree Center Welcomes New Board Members8/30/10The Birchtree Center recently welcomed three new members to its board of directors: Bruce Dicker, Gregory Majewski, and Carol McClard. Architect Bruce Dicker of Dover is Principal and CEO of JSA, Incorporated, a design firm with offices in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Jacksonville, Florida. Dicker became familiar with Birchtree’s programs and students while serving as principal architect for interior renovations to The Birchtree Center’s new facility in Newington. Now that construction is complete, Dicker continues his support of Birchtree as a volunteer board member. Attorney Gregory J. Majewski of Durham has been a practicing attorney since 1992. His office is located in Dover and he is licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Michigan. Attorney Majewski has been an active volunteer with The Birchtree Center for the last two years. Carol McClard of Raymond is Financial Services Manager and Vice President at People’s United Bank in Portsmouth, formerly known as Ocean Bank. McClard has over twenty-five years of experience in banking and business development. She has served on the boards of several local nonprofits, including The Housing Partnership, Leadership Seacoast, and Pro Portsmouth. “These new board members come to Birchtree with essential expertise, an understanding of our community, and a commitment to our mission,” says the center’s Executive Director, Dr. Christine Guarino. “Our students with autism are so fortunate to have the support.” For more information about The Birchtree Center’s programs and services, visit www.birchtreecenter.org or call the center at 603-433-4192. |
